Sports Medicine Fellowship programs offer an additional year of specialized training for candidates from various medical backgrounds, including family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

In ERAS, Sports Medicine has four specialty listings: Sports Medicine (Emergency Medicine), Sports Medicine (Family Medicine), Sports Medicine (Pediatrics), Sports Medicine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation).
